Manchester United’s promising defender Ayden Heaven is determined to become the most prolific set-piece-scoring centre-back.

The 18-year-old joined the Red Devils from Arsenal earlier this year and คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย has made six first-team appearances so far, but could have featured more had he not suffered an ankle injury in March.

Standing at 6ft 2in, Heaven aims to play regularly and score goals like the Premier League’s past and present.

” I want to score more goals from set-pieces,” Heaven told The Athletic. “You see Gabriel and Van Dijk, and defenders like Maguire. I want to be like them, scoring headers in the box.”

“I think that’s always a good thing for a defender. It’s more about the mentality. You have to believe you can score goals.”

Meanwhile, Heaven has spoken of the influence of Darren Fletcher, the team’s coach, and Maguire, on the team. “Darren Fletcher has helped me a lot in training and in games. The first day I arrived at Carrington he came up to me and spoke to me. I think he’s helping the young players,” he said.

“Likewise with Harry Maguire, before the game Harry and I talk a lot about tactics.”

The all-time top-scoring centre-back in Premier League history is Chelsea legend John Terry, who netted 41 in 492 appearances.
